Trained staff are skilled staff and with skill shortages, particularly in the drycleaning industry, at a record high and with an increasing ageing workforce drycleaning businesses need skilled workers to remain competitive.
DIA is working with Training Providers to ensure relevant nationally recognised qualifications and short course options that cover everything from Industrial Relations, Work Health and Safety,Customer Service and Consumer Law. These are additional to technical operating workshops......spotting, finishing, fibres and fabrics, drycleaning and wetcleaning, equipment maintenance just to mention a few.
