About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced presser/ironer to join our small family run drycleaning business in Bayside Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use pressing or finishing equipment and press attachments in accordance with operating instructions
• Sequence and position work on pressing or finishing equipment according to product requirements
• Apply heat, steam, vacuum, pressure and time according to product requirements and fabric specifications
• Control equipment and handle work to suit variations in fibre and fabric, work type, construction and pressing requirements

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a laundry or dry-cleaning environment preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
