About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced presser/ironer to join our small family run drycleaning business in Bayside Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities:
- Use pressing or finishing equipment and press attachments in accordance with operating instructions
- Sequence and position work on pressing or finishing equipment according to product requirements
- Apply heat, steam, vacuum, pressure and time according to product requirements and fabric specifications
- Control equipment and handle work to suit variations in fibre and fabric, work type, construction and pressing requirements
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a laundry or dry-cleaning environment preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
